MOCs, Bricks, and IPVs!

'Ello! Again! You can see that I'm getting into uploading secret files from my module more often now.

As you all know (or are about to,) I really like LEGO bricks...

Here are some "EPIC" pictures of my LEGO MOCS (MOC is My Own Creation.)
They are not professionally taken. I did this in my living room.

Here is my Jeep, which is actually a "redo" of a LEGO Toy Story set.

This is completely mine. I built this car, which I have branded as the
"Marooho Kadet," and I estimate that it took 5-6 hours to build.
The great thing about LEGO is that you buy it to make something,
tear it up and build something even better!

I got 90% of a $10 set in trade for just ONE LEGO helmet from my friend. It was
a small spaceship, and I took it apart and made this little IPV
(Interplanetary Personal Vehicle (I coined the term myself.))


I hope you can appreciate how good of a job I did with these MOCs.

Hey readers! Please read the post below.

On the Mac I'm writing this on, the videos were over the words over there ->
So I looked at the HTML of the videos and changed the pixel width from
"480" to "400". That was genius! So I'll keep em' on!

I finally got a profile on BrickLink. Now my friends will always be impressed!

I'll get some Blacktron II stuff, and Classic Space minifigs!
Maybe some more hair, and older sets! Frogs, dinosaurs, money, monkeys!
Carrots, bananas, apples! Blacktron II, M.tron, Ice Planet 2002!
Yeah!

Okay, that probably makes NO sense to you, but basically, Blacktron II/M.tron/
Ice Planet 2002/Classic Space are all set themes under the genre of "Space."
All of them are at least 10 years old. everything else is a kind of LEGO.

They don't have lizards though! Just dinos.
Anyway, I really should go now.-G

Loads Of Stuff!

Hey readers! I am sitting here in CA blogging. I've had the best time

here, and I'll live it up till monday!

Speaking of LEGOS, there is a book coming out in feb (2010) .

It's about the Minifigure. You probably know that I love those plastic people

by now, and if you didn't, you sure do now! I hope I can pre-order it!

I just got the new DS game, LEGO Battles.

Speaking of CARS, have you ever heard of "Top Gear?"

If you get BBC, you can see it. I don't have BBC,

but I have Youtube! There is a Top Gear episode

where the Three British Blokes (TBB) race in Japan,

two of them on Japan's Bullet Train/ferry/cable-car,

and the third in Nissan's newest edition of the Skyline GT-R.

In another, the TBB play darts with cars (real ones!) and so on and so on...

Speaking of ANOLES and such, My female Lizard

died the other day. It's sad, but I never felt attached to the Green Guys

anyway. Oh well-maybe they're in heaven now.

And speaking of STUFF and such, I got a cool book about global

transportation. It's called "GO! the whole world of transportation"

and it's written by DK, one of my favorite book companies.

I also got a new DS game, LEGO battles, as a reward for

finishing my 1000 pages reading program.

I have gotten a ton of free LEGOS from my CA friends.

I'll send out thank-you cards soon. I've loaded up on my

friends' E-mail addresses as well. I have yet to get the

missionaries' addresses.

Yes, this is especially long...And I should really go now.

Insane fun with LEGO bricks; the guide

A wonderous site;

Here, bricks are sold individually--all bricks,

from the faceless, limbless minifigs of the early 70's,

to today's LEGO men.

It is a great site to buy super rare LEGO bricks, and decide

exactly what pieces you get, instead of buying sets.

2 Lugnet

Another helpful site when observing older sets.

Type in the number code on your instructions/box in Lugnet's

search engine (under the "SET" filter) and you will find the set picture.

On occasion, the set picture will not appear.

this happens more often when searching for the 70's sets,

due to the shear age of the sets--it's not like you'll find them on the

official LEGO site!

Leggo the LEGOS!

Hello readers! I hope you like the little changes I made!

I just made a profile on the LEGO website. My username is Grahamtheblogger .

Besides that, I also got a wish-list of LEGO sets:

3 LEGO set #285330 CITY Transport Collection [category: CITY]

4 LEGO set #7639 Camper [category: CITY]

yes, that may be confusing, but the number is the set ID, and the

category is the LEGO set category in which said set is classified.

The CITY Transportation Collection is a whopping $200, but it is 2010 pieces

(on the basis of ¢10 per piece, with exceptions (big pieces, hard to mold, etc.))

So, if I had $300+, I might look at some of those sets...

Hello readers! I don't recall expressing my interest in Legos, but I will now!

I love the lil' plastic pieces, especially Minifigures/minifig accessories/ animals.

The Minifig (Mini-Figure) has been around for 30+ years, and there are billions of ways to combine Minifig parts! I have a lot of 'em, but I always accept more.

I recently got some amazing parts that I don't have/Lego decommissioned.

In case you're wondering what parts there are available to deck out your Lego man (men/woman/women),

the basic minifig is a torso (torso w/arms & equipable hands) a pair of legs,

and a head (classic minifg head is plain smiley face, hundreds of others out there)

. There are hats/hair/helmets/other, and for arms, weapons/cups/food/sticks/etc., and for feet, even a few shoes!

BrickArms, a 3rd party company, makes Lego compatible guns/grenades/knifes/other.

They are not huge, and semi-pricey, but

my friend showed his BrickArms guns to me;I'm very impressed!

If you are into Legos, then this will be worth waiting for.

I hope to get some after saving the money.
