Stuff you'll forget/dont need to know II

I have more "Stuff you'll forget/don't need to know"!
  1. Thorium is a naturally-occouring radioactive metal. I has one of the highest known melting points: 6026 F. !
  2. It is estimated that there are over 1.2 trillion species of animal, 300,000 species of plants, and 100,000 other living things!
  3. Once apon a time, 200 million years ago, there was one landmass. It was called Pangea. 65 Million years later, Pangea had broken into a Northern land and a Southern land. The Northern land was called Laurasia, and the Southern was called Gondwanaland, and India was but an island. 65 million years ago, the Earth started to resemble our modern day landmasses.
  4. Platinum, and Cobalt share the title of oldest elements of the periodic table, both with the date of dicovery in 1735.

Graham,

Thanks for the reminders. I had forgotten.

Now I'm going to be worrying about those 100,000 other living things. Do they, per chance include square, yellow sponges?

Have a super day.
