Hybrids...

Hello. I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been able to post lately.
I couldn't use my family's PC; it is "sick" with a virus, and I didn't have access to my
dad's laptop, either. My dad is in California, for business stuff.
That explained, I've gotten a comment from a CSO member (Chandler Symphony
Orchestra. My mom is the Pres.) concerning hybrids and their batteries.
First of all, let me point out that hybrids look like spaceships or even eggs.
But more importantly, hybrids usually cost more, thus you are using more trees to get a hybrid. And have you seen a "hybrid charge station"? I've only seen one lousy outlet to charge up your road-going spaceship. So it seems like you are paying more
for a car that doesn't even look good. And are the batteries good for the environment? NO! hybrids? Do they have a purpose in the world of automobiles?
and what about toxic chemicals in hybrid batteries?
I was thinking that a containment center for these toxic chemicals could be
constructed. When a hybrid was "finished", these toxic chemicals could could be stored in these containment facilities.
Then later, the chemicals could be put in the new hybrid's batteries.
That might be a solution.-G
